I went online to ask if I could make a simple border in Photoshop.
Someone said to use the marquee tool, create the border, then go to edit/stroke and up pops a window for line weight and color. My problem is I can't figure out how to change the line weight or color afterwards. I figured out to do the border on it's own layer so if I need to change it, I can just delete the layer and start again. There has got to be a better way!

is there any way to 1. rotate the marquee tools, as you may not always want something totally square, and 2. use different shapes as marquee tools? (e.g. triangle, trapezium, soft corner rectangle etc. )
